Aries season has arrived, and we begin again.
Being birthed into another 12-month cycle around the wheel.
As it is a new cycle, I will be birthing some new ideas and formats into my biz in hopes of growing it to a point where my needs are met so I can continue to do the work I love.
I am so grateful to you all for the support and look forward to connecting with you again soon.
It is also time for a bit of a theme change.
We have just completed looking at the 10 planets (yes, I know Sun and Moon are not planets…fine neither is Pluto if you want to be a stickler).
Of those ten astral bodies only Moon and Venus are seen as feminine, I want to balance out that energy by looking at the Asteroid Goddesses.
These are lesser known and named for goddesses.
As we are balancing out the Sacred Masculine and Divine Feminine on the planet right now, why not go off planet and look at some of our galactic guides.
Eris
We start our journey with Eris, for several reasons.
Firstly, Eris has been in Aries for the last 100 years. Literally, she entered Aries in 1922…and she is not done there yet.
Secondly, she is sister to Ares (Mars) who is the ruler of Aries so she can balance Mars.
Aries (the sign of the ram), Ares (the god of war) Eris (the goddess of strife and discord). They are similar sounding but different.
Let us start by looking at the mythology, we learn and integrate more easily from story, this is why there is such power in the myths all these years later.
Eris found out that she was the only goddess not to have been invited to the wedding of Peleus and Thetis.
She was furious.
She is an agent of chaos, whose behavior is usually discordant, so you can see why she was not invited, but by not inviting her they invited her wrath.
A woman scorned…we all know that story.
She is very smart, speaks her truth, and is not afraid to create a scene.
So, she devised a plan for revenge.
She arrived at the wedding anyway, and when she was refused entry she threw a golden apple into the midst of the goddesses at the party, it was engraved with the words ‘to the fairest’.
Three of the goddesses, Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite all decided it must be for them.
When put under pressure to choose the fairest, Zeus (Jupiter) wisely decides not to choose between his wife, daughter, and lover.
But he puts Paris the prince of Troy in the hot seat, forcing him to judge between the three.
Each goddess secretly bribes Paris to be crowned the fairest, but he chooses Aphrodite because she promises him the most beautiful woman in the world.
Helen of Troy…we all know how that ended.
Here’s the thing, we can see bits of these characters in our fairy tales.
Maleficent was not invited to the princess’s baptism.
Being wildly hurt and offended, who likes to be left out after all, she cursed the poor innocent child.
To prick her finger, die or sleep for 100 years. As Eris is known as the feminine underworld, or the uninvited feminine, it is like she put Aroura to sleep to prevent her growing into her feminine power.
From this we learn it is best to invite the bad fairy to the party.
You may have an uncomfortable evening if you are seated next to her, but it would be far worse to offend her.
Eris gives us the opportunity to look at the unloved part of our psyche and find a way to love her, or at the very least to invite her to the table rather than shunning her.
Then we can see the play across in the wicked witch in Snow White.
The apple as a theme for starters…think garden of Eden, this is not an original theme/symbol.
Then we have the famous line, “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?”
When Eris threw the apple in, if not for the goddess’s vanity there would have been no Trojan war.
They could have laughed it off and agreed that they were all beautiful.
But this comes back to one of the shadows of femininity, competitiveness against other women.
In Snow White, as in Sleeping beauty there is an attempt to stop the maiden from maturing, as if owning our divine femininity (and for men the divine feminine aspect in you too) is dangerous and getting old is undesirable.
Harnessing Eris…
Eris is a dwarf planet; it was in fact due to her discovery that Pluto got demoted. We may say there is a little tension between them.
Read about Pluto, here.
She is further out in the solar system than Pluto, so she also has a unique perspective and way of communicating with him.
Think for a moment at the rise of the Feminine since 1922.
Though Eris had not yet been discovered, as she entered Aries women had just gotten the vote and the Flappers became a thing.
By the time Eris was discovered in 2005 the energy came more strongly into our collective consciousness.
Another reminder here that feminine energy just as masculine energy pertains to everything no matter your physical gender (Sun, Mars, Jupiter etc are all predominantly masculine but we all work with those parts of ourselves)
Unless you are a centenarian you have Eris in Aries in your natal chart.
Aries our blood, bloodlines, blood in our body, what we are ready to die (shed blood) for.
She is a young and naïve wounded feminine, in Aries.
Eris has been hurt and is thereby creating chaos and conflict and fighting to be seen.
As she is showing up uninvited or not, we need to invite her and sit in the discomfort that it creates to integrate, and to heal deep wounds.
Eris will speak truth to power.
As Eris is in Aries for all of us, to see your, big lessons and themes, the house is what you need to look at and if any planets are conjunct or aspecting Eris.

Astrology Buzz
Jupiter Neptune conjunction in Pisces
The last time this happened in Pisces was the year Sigmund Freud was born in 1856…166 years ago.
So, it is fair to say this is a rare moment in history/herstory which we are privileged to be a part of.
This is an opportunity to see beyond what we have been able to see before, and with our new perspective we can open ourselves up to dreaming for our future and the future of our planet in a way we could never have done before.
For me this falls in my 7th house of relationships.
Where is your big window for dissolving what doesn’t work and creating a new and improved masterpiece?
Aries Mar 21st to Apr 20th we feel ignited into action again, maybe with more intensity than is comfortable. What new adventures await, and what must we leave behind as we continue with our crucible of transformation.
Taurus Apr 21st to May 22nd will help us slow down again and get practical. Helping materialise all those enthusiastic ideas we began in Aries. Time to plough the fields.
New Moon: April New Moon is on the 1st in the sign of Aries.
This New Moon initiates a new year from the perspective of the Moon. Just as the Equinox point 21st Mar when Sun stepped into Aries initiated a new year from Sun’s perspective.
This new moon promises to trigger some childhood wounds and old patterns. This may feel less than comfortable but whatever bubbles up to the surface is asking to be released not suppressed.
Feeling unable to release because you have spent so long suppressing and repressing? Get in touch for some personal support and practical tools.

Full Moon
March full moon is in Libra on the 16th opposing the Sun in Aries.
Full Moon sees Pluto in the therapist’s seat again, giving Sun and Moon some hard and uncomfortable truths.
Where last month’s full Moon, Pluto was supportive and listening, this month he is fed up with the both of them for not taking accountability and is drawing a line.
Physically for Libra and Aries, kidneys, urinary tract, veins, skin, arteries, head, teeth, and tongue.
Questions are tailored to the exact planetary alignment over this Full Moon.
Most especially the challenging conversation between Sun and Moon with Pluto.
They will be most potent if started over the 3 days of Full moon 15th, 16th and 17th, there is never a wrong time to reflect however, all is in divine timing.
Questions you may ask yourself in Aries/Libra axis, will be sent out later this month, closer to the Full Moon

Crystal picks for April
Eris theme
Black Tourmaline is a powerful crystal, perfect for working with this powerful goddess archetype. It is my go-to stone for psychic attack.
Psychic attack can be when someone is overtly attacking or wishing you ill. But more often it is not even consciously intentional.
Most of the time we are unaware how powerful we are and don’t realise that gossiping, or judging, ignoring, not inviting, unforgiveness or residual negative feelings towards someone is a form of psychic attack.
Yes, we all to it, often to those we love most.
Black Tourmaline (especially if well programmed) can assist with getting that psychic attack to bounce right off before it does any damage.
As for where we are the attacker, we can become more mindful and vigilant, and do our own work so as not to bleed (metaphorically) on others unintentionally.
Black Tourmaline is also a literally heavy stone and is deeply grounding. Helping us to dig deep into the earth and our own earth star chakra and thus looking for the unloved parts of ourselves.
Inviting those parts to sit by the fire and express their grievances.
Rather than leaving them to create chaos and discord in our lives.
Fluorite has become more and more popular; it is beautiful and comes in a range of colours.
My main reason for bringing it in with Eris is its clarity.
It is a clear crystal with a clear action.
Balancing the two sides of our brain, which means balancing the operating system of conditioning.
This gives us the opportunity to take the old narrative of masculine and feminine and slowly filtrating and clarifying to bring into balance.
Thereby stepping into Sacred Masculine and Divine Feminine.
Whilst Eris energy kicks up a lot of dust in her chaotic storm, we can use Fluorite to find clarity and our centre within the eye of that storm.
The world, situations and people will continue to disrupt and destabilize, and we obviously will have to deal with what comes up. But at our core we can feel centred even within the storm, within the rage, grief, sadness, loss or even war.
Only if we do our work.
You are the hardest job you will ever have, but you are worth it.
Disclaimer: crystals should not be used as cures but rather as support.

Aromas of the month
Wild Orange and Pink Pepper are my Eris oils.
Wild Orange is as close to apple as I could get…yes, I do know the saying its like comparing apples and oranges. But let’s draw comparisons for where it works it’s a fruit oil for one and working with Eris is WILD.
Wildly, chaotic, discordant, argumentative, aggressive, insulted or insulting. It can also be wildly fun, unrestricted, free, intelligent, experimental, honest, and transformative.
Wild Orange will help you smile even when life feels out of tune, support playfulness and joy where it seems near impossible.
It is honest and boosts your immunity and energy levels which may be waning with the constant chaos of the storm.
Pink Pepper is a spicy little minx, like Eris. She will show up in your blends and call it as she sees it, not afraid to pick the scab or poke her fingers into an oozing wound.
I know it sounds gross, but she, like Eris does not much care if it makes you uncomfortable.
Pink Pepper is fruity/spicy smelling, linking us to the immature maiden (fruity) and the mature embodied woman (spicy) so in this oil alone we can work to integrate the divine feminine and to tap into the unexplored parts of our psyche.
Combine with Wild Orange to make sure we don’t get lost in the darkness or lose our sense of humour.
doTERRA is CPTG (Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade)
Do you want to use the magic of doTERRA essential oils to support your growth?
Uses and Blend suggestions:
Clear the Air – add a combination of Wild Orange and Pink Pepper to your diffuser in any combination you want.
I currently have 4 drops of each working their magic, but perhaps you feel the need to make one scent stronger than the other.
Don’t be afraid to experiment.
Loving the previously unloved parts– 5 drops each Wild Orange and Pink Pepper and 2 drops of Geranium in 10ml of carrier oil.
My top pics are doTERRA’s fractionated coconut oil, sweet almond, or grapeseed.
A loving and gentle self-massage to get these oils into the bloodstream, into the muscles and working on hormonal, immune and nervous systems.
While connecting intimately with your own body
(side note; if the intimacy gets deeper remember no oils in any orifice other than the mouth if an edible oil)
Let me know if you like these blends, recipes, and suggestions.
Note: How Fast do Essential oils work?
It takes 22 seconds for the molecules to reach the brain.
