Rainbow Wisdom Newsletter March 2021

Hello and happy March Rainbow tribe.

This is the final month of focus on the zodiacal archetypes as themes.

I hope you have enjoyed the ride.

Never fear I have some great (well I think so anyway) ideas for the months to come.

A sneak peek for April is we will be looking at the planet Mars and all he represents.

Our theme this month though is Pisces.

If you need a reminder about how this astrological archetype theme works or want to look up another sign, check out the last newsletters in my blog.

Pisces, The Dreamer

A quick recap is that Capricorn flavoured all of 2020 and Aquarius will be flavouring all of 2021.

February however was intensely Aquarian with 6 planets hanging out there at the mid-month point.

I for one am soooo relieved to be floating in the cool stream of Pisces right now.

Pisces is a water sign, so all the emotions you have managed to repress in the last few months may come flooding in, or out.

This is a good thing, even when it does not always feel that way.

Water signs force us to feel, and if we deal with what we feel we will boost our overall wellbeing.

Pisces energy can however be prone to taking the edge off the intense emotions with substance abuse or really anything that works.

The motto is; deal with the feels, don’t numb them.

Pisces is a dual sign, symbolised by two fish swimming in opposite directions.

Harnessing Pisces…

This is an extremely psychic archetype.

If you have strong Pisces, you will likely relate but even if you don’t this will be a month you may ‘feel’ more than you bargained for.

If you are feeling the emotions of others more intensely, feeling oversensitive and taking everything more personally than usual, having intense dreams, feeling exhausted and wanting to be alone and to sleep or rest more, then Pisces season is affecting you.

Piscean energy is gentle, romantic, idealistic, intuitive and about completions (being the last sign of the zodiac).

If they are out of balance or overwhelmed, which is often for this sensitive sign, they may struggle with illusions, delusions, be prone to escapism, self-pity, and victim mentality.

If you hold strong Pisces you need to have a strong self-care and spiritual practice, whatever that looks like for you.

Does this hit home for you as you read?

Spotlight Advice

Growing with Piscean energy

If you are resonating strongly with this Archetype, then I am going to give you a few suggestions.

First to enhance the energy, second to sedate the energy and thirdly to enjoy the energy…lets jump in.

Action Steps

1) Enhancing Pisces: If you want to work with your dreams, this is the season to do it start a dream journal practice.

Enhancing your intuition this month will show dividends quickly.

One way to do this is through the practice of meditation.

What do you need to let go of, or complete? Now is the time.

2) Sedating Pisces: think about how the riverbed holds the river, even in flow, water needs to be held to be embodied, get grounded.

Do not overindulge in any of your addictive vices (alcohol, drugs, sex, gaming, gambling etc) to numb your feelings.

3) Enjoying Pisces: Get creative in any way you choose, draw, paint, cook, garden, dance, sing.

This is a great month to start or increase your yoga and meditation practice.

Take some alone time to daydream, this is not wasted time.

Rest more, this too is more beneficial than you know.

Contact me for more info on, personal coaching, healing, yoga or meditation.

I am doing yoga via Zoom Monday at 10:30, Wednesday 17:30 and Thursday at 8am.

Astrology Buzz

Pisces February 19th to March 20th

If the emotions get too intense, remember fiery Aries is just around the corner to burn the excess away. It is only for a season, but it also has a reason.

Aries March 21st to April 19th

Happy solar returns to those celebrating their birthday over Aries season. Hold onto your roller skates, this ram likes to move fast, like a match burns.

Full Moon was in Virgo on the 27th opposing the Sun in Pisces.

Forgiveness is a key component of working successfully with the Full moon phase.

Questions you may ask yourself in Virgo/Pisces;

How can I become more intuitive in listening to my body and what it needs, and then to implement this daily?

If you are Virgo dominant – Where can I find space and time in my daily routine to fill my emotional and spiritual cup? (ideas would be to meditate, journal, pray, paint etc)

If you are Pisces dominant – How can I adjust my daily dietary habits to include healing foods/supplements and avoid overindulgence?

If even one of these triggers you on some level, take the time to think about it, journal or meditate on it.

Use these tools mindfully and if you need extra support and guidance, I am available for consultations.

And then we have March’s Full Moon on the 28th in the sign of Libra.

As it is at the end of the month, we will look at it in the April newsletter.

New Moon: March New Moon is on the 12th in the sign of Pisces.

This is the time to seed your intentions and to do the shadow work or inner healing.

Moonifesting is an immensely powerful practice and each cycle begins at the New Moon.

If you are ready to change your story and heal old wounds, I would love to be your guide from the side.

Red Tent

Dark Moon is when women gather in the Red Tent.

Remember we are operating on a global level now so get in touch if you want to find out how to join us.

Here are a few testimonials from some of our magical moon sister’s.

“I just love Red Tent Global. I have learnt so much about myself – the light and the shadow traits. It is a monthly practice that I look froward to with much anticipation.

I really enjoy the journaling questions, that make you think deep within yourself, and the toolbox of self-help during the month.

I would recommend Red Tent to anyone wanting to look deeper within or just an interest in learning more about yourself.” Jenny

“Before Red Tent, I had never experienced a sacred gathering of supportive and loving women, outside of my friendship circle.

I realised that as women, we had somehow learnt to always compete with one another, instead of holding a loving space for our collective growth.

Cindy and Shona have created this loving space for our Sacred Sisterhood – a place where we can stand in our power as we express our vulnerability.

I am so grateful to be part of our Red Tent Sisterhood – it has made me feel so secure and connected within our community. It has reminded me of the deep love we have within us for our sisters, and how this love expands into our lives and ultimately into the world as we support and nurture on another.” Belinda

Crystal picks for March

Pisces Theme

Aquamarine is my Piscean pick, it is the Birthstone for this sign and has a strong link to water and the emotions.

Aquamarine has a beautiful creative flow to it, and helps us to express our emotions, which is often a challenge for water signs, who can get lost in the feelings, and pull away.

If Aquamarine is the ocean, lets look under the sea to see more this month.

Pearl and Coral begin their life differently to most minerals but are classified as being part of the mineral kingdom.

Pearls are created by a clam due to a grain of sand irritating it.

Think about a grain of sand in your eye and how your eye may water and shift it to the tear corner to be released.

Well, the clam can’t shift it so ends up creating this beautiful calcification instead.

Pearls therefore help us transform through adversity and have a strong connection to our emotions.

I am always cautious when wearing pearls that they may irritate some of the emotions I have tried to bury, causing them to bubble up to felt and transformed into pearls of wisdom.

So be intentional when wearing your pearls.

Coral is the home of many tiny little sea creatures, and it is organic (alive) itself when under the sea.

It too has a strong connection to emotions, community, the many facets of one’s self and one’s life.

As it is the structural home for others it works well with the skeletal system and is great to help us tune into the mystical and the intuitive.

Although it comes in a variety of colours we are most used to seeing in in a vibrant red, tapping into a lot of fiery energy as well as the water, and helping ease depression.

Aromas of the month

Peppermint and Frankincense are my pics for the month of Pisces.

Peppermint is a great oil to use this month for several reasons.

Firstly, as Pisces are prone living in a dream world at the best of times, Peppermint’s freshness helps to focus the mind and bring us to the task at hand.

Secondly, it is a great oil for any sort of digestive upsets and when dealing with water signs, emotional tummy trouble is par for the course. Making this little tool very handy indeed to keep to hand.

And Thirdly, (there are more but I am sure you don’t have all day so we will stop at three) Pisces rules the feet and Peppermint is great to soothe sore feet and to deodorise smelly ones.

Frankincense is the king of oils for a reason. I chose it this month because of its ability to calm us and settle our nerves, force deep breathing, and protect our immune systems.

Because when we are overwrought, we are far more vulnerable to both physical and mental illness.

It also has a long history of use in sacred and spiritual settings.

Starting even before one of the wise men gave it as a gift to the baby Jesus. Still used in churches today for the almost altered state it can evoke, ensuring it is perfect for prayer, meditation, mindfulness, yoga etc.

Uses and Blend suggestions:

Focused and Calm add 2 drops Peppermint, 5 drops Frankincense in your diffuser.

This blend will help focus your scattered mind. Calming your nervous system, thoughts, and emotions.

Foot Soak – into a nice warm foot bath, add a handful of Epsom salts and 3 drops of Peppermint.

If you want to blend some other oils into your foot soak, your feet will enjoy Lemongrass, Lavender, ZenGest, Breathe, Deep Blue or whatever oil is calling your name.

A 10 to 20 min soak will make such a difference to sore or tired feet but also to your mood, energy levels and attitude (consider it homework)

Note: How Fast do Essential oils work?

It takes 22 seconds for the molecules to reach the brain.

In 2 minutes, Essential oils will be found in the bloodstream.

By 20 minutes they will affect every cell in the body

SAMPLE ALERT – I love to sample for FREE those who are keen to try out my magical oily friends. Do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like to be sampled.

Remember to write your blends in your blend book so you remember what you liked and what you didn’t.
