Release the honey jar to find the thriving hive

May 2023

Welcome, I meet you bang in the middle of Eclipse season this month.

I feel a bit of a continuation of last month’s Pluto in Aquarius focused theme.

Pluto is also square the nodes pretty much for the rest of the year.

‘Cindy, please stop speaking astrology and tell us what that means!’ I hear you say.

And as luck would have it, that is just what I am going to do.

Without falling too strongly into astrology language for those whose eyes start to cross with the jargon, but just enough for those trying to learn the lingo.

Well, that’s the balance I am trying to strike anyway, you can let me know how it lands for you.

Simply put, the nodes of fate and destiny (nodes of the moon) are what dictates where the eclipses are happening astrologically.

There is a North (dharma) and a South (karma) node and they are exactly opposite one another (180°), at 90 degrees, between the two we have good old Pluto forcing some major shifts in our karma (old patterns in this life, or previous incarnations, or ancestral/societal patterning).

He is doing this in order to compost our psyches to fulfil our dharma (highest potential).

I am killing the bracketed breakdowns (sorry not sorry).

I don’t want your money Honey,

I want your love

Something to know about Pluto, is he demands a sacrifice.

This usually involves giving up the thing you think you will never give up, or the thing you think you can’t live without.

If you have ever undergone a personal Pluto transit you will know exactly what I am talking about.

As Pluto is VERY slow moving many of us will never experience some of those tough personal transits, but with Pluto square the Nodes our collective transformation is undeniable.

Pluto/Hades is the ruler of the Underworld, did you know this is the richest kingdom?

As hard as it is to let go of that which we hold most dear the treasure we are gifted is always better than we could imagine.

This requires us to intentionally sacrifice, not to have it forcibly removed…if the latter is the case there will be indefinite delays on the abundant gifts from Pluto.

Pluto is really demanding a phoenix like transformation, it is not meant to be easy, it is meant to show you your strength and your ability to not only survive but thrive.

On that note…let’s talk about honey.

Honey really is a golden and gooey elixir of the gods.

Fun facts;

It was found in the Pharo's tombs (must have had value), and after

centuries it does not spoil!

Honey is antibacterial and antifungal and can be used for healing in a myriad of ways.

From applying to wounds, pimples and skin conditions, to a panacea for sore throats, respiratory or digestive issues.

Honeybees have to visit 2 million flowers to make one pound do honey. Think on the symbolic pollination and flowering happening within you when you eat (nonirradiated) honey.

Honey is the only food that contains all the substances necessary to sustain life, including, vitamins, minerals, enzymes and water.

This humble and ancient sticky golden elixir truly it a treasure.

In case you are wondering how we got from Pluto square the Nodes to honey trivia, it is coming back to last month’s analogy of Pluto in Aquarius being like the hive mind.

Think symbolically about the honey you are producing.

Is it abundant but low quality, potent but minimal, just not happening?

What can you do to improve quality and production of the healthy sweetness in your life?

Gratitude is a great place to start.

What are your 2 million flowers?

Visit the flowers that you value, that bring you pleasure and joy, even if you have to fly through thorns for some of them.

If that Rosey aroma calls to your soul, fly carefully but pollinate your future for your greatest life.

If we all do that, we can pool our honey and live side by side on the banks of a river of runny honey.

Where we are all nourished and kind, that is wealth, that is abundance.

Idealistic? Perhaps, but what if we could get there?

Even just in the interest of a social experiment, why not start looking at your story and your wounds.

Just pour a little honey to heal the wounds and sweeten the tale.

Astrology Buzz

Taurus Apr 21st to May 21st

Taurus season has been big with Uranus being in Taurus since May 2018 and Eclipses here late 2021.

It is safe to say that if you have a lot of Taurus in your chart, you will have felt this A LOT!

If you want good honey, you need good flowers which means you need to get stuck in and plant, water, weed, cut back and do your work. Taurus, can get lazy but once moving is really good at the above.

Gemini May 22nd to Jun 21st Gemini season may feel like a breath of fresh air after Taurus, or a gale force wind…as a Gemini I often feel the latter.

This is a time for some mental dexterity, but also remember to rest your poor brain. Mercury, Gemini’s ruler will have just gone direct and be trying to find his winged sandals again.

Full Moon

May Full Moon is in Scorpio on the 5th and it is the last Scorpio Eclipse for the next 9 years. Let go of that stubborn sh1t.

See my forecast around this Full Moon.

New Moon

Taurus New Moon is on the 19th of May.

The first Taurus lunation in a while that has not been an eclipse, and even signifies the end of this eclipse season.

Late Oct we will have the last Taurus Eclipse for 9 years.

Red Tent 2.0 masterclass teacher will be the lovely Venus this month.

Our journey with Mars is still in process and so far, his juicy content has elicited fabulous questions and great explorations.

As we explore and uncover more about ourselves (shadow and light) we become more authentic and accountable.

Venus will teach us what we want, and what we value and how best to attract that abundance into our lives.

If you are eager to learn from these master teachers in the sky, please get in touch.

My plan is to keep this at the very affordable R200/$15 monthly membership.

Crystals Made Simple

Check out my Udemy course.

The crystal I want to spotlight is Malachite.

Most of us know this banded dark green crystal. It is often found in carved or shaped pieces because it is relatively soft by the MOHS hardness scale.

It is rare and also not advised to work with it in its raw form because it has little fibrous bits that are actually toxic.

This is in fact why I chose it today. Just as in homeopathy there is the concept of like heals like.

For example, a tiny quantity of toxic snake venom taken as a tincture can heal, well a snake bite, but also other toxicity.

This is kind of the same for crystals, and especially a crystal, like malachite, which is great for toxicity but also toxic.

This is a time for us to release what is causing sepsis, and Malachite it your man, or woman.

It is forceful but equally it allows us to pause between big purges to consolidate.

Like Pluto, malachite offers abundance overflowing in a cornucopia of health and wealth when we let go of toxic people, situations, relationships, jobs, dependencies, foods and beliefs.

Easy to find, and affordable.

It is often worn as jewelry which is a fabulous and easy way to benefit from your crystals.

Tumbled, carved or in jewelry, malachite is very safe.

Do Not place in your water bottle and if making crystal elixir use the indirect method.

If you want to learn more about how to do that, check out my Udemy course, or book a personal session and pick my brain.

Aromatherapy Made Simple

Grapefruit is our spotlight, its bitter and an acquired taste.

That first bite of a grapefruit (especially if unsweetened) can be polarizing, ‘does this even taste nice? Why am I eating this again?’

‘It tastes bad, but it’s good for me, let me keep eating.’

Bite two – ‘all these antioxidants are really detoxifying’

Bite three – ‘and actually its not such a bitter pill to swallow, I quite enjoy it’

Then it squirts you in the eye, but you keep eating.

This analogy really fits Pluto square the Nodes, eclipse in Scorpio.

And this essential oil gives you the benefits without the bitterness.

It boosts digestion, detoxing, cleaning and eliminating.

It clears the skin, sharpens the mind and cheers the mood.

Not in a toxic positivity kind of way.

Grapefruit has a more realistic view of the world.

Sometimes life is bitter, sour and sharp. But if you add your special brand of honey, you can sweeten the deal.

If you learn to sweeten your own life even when it is tough, you can lead by example and let your honey spill over to sweeten the pot for others too.

If you are struggling to find any honey, surround yourself with people who have honey to share.

It’s okay to not be okay all of the time…it’s called life.

I have to be honest, when I am not okay essential oils are a HUGE part of my toolbox to self-regulate, self soothe and redirect my energy.

Use any oils that are 100% pure essential oils, not fragrance oils.

I highly recommend doTERRA which is CPTG (Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade).

Do you want to use the magic of doTERRA essential oils to support your growth?

Remember to write your blends in your blend book so you remember what you liked and what you didn’t.

If you are keen to get hold of these magical oils, find me on this link https://www.mydoterra.com/cindyrainbowwisdom/#/
